VIOLENCE ENCOURAGED TO OUR CHILDREN AND KIDS OF THE COMMUNITY BY VILLAGE OFFICIALS
On March 15th 2023, Community School District 401 held a Board meeting at the High School. That meeting addressed the issue of the March 6th 2023 incident, of a student having a gun in the High School. A look at the You Tube video of the meeting, does not show any Village Officials present. They were not there to encourage or consol the parents and residence of the of community. This occurred during times of shooting incidents across the country, school shootings and weapons in schools. Unfortunately, that hasn’t stopped since then. Instead, the Village Board was and is promoting violence to the kids and children of the community. See the photos below.
The incumbent candidates and Board members need to realize how far removed they are from the community. They are out of touch. Kids need guidance. I myself was personally confronted by young teens while they were removing and taking my signs down. Coincidently, only mine have been removed.
Activities and programs are essential for a vibrant and stable community. However, Elmwood Park has turned into a playland for those in power to reap the benefits.
This may be the last time to send a message and bring the community back to the residences and families. Please get out and vote.
